Expecting A Little Sweetheart <3

I’m so happy to finally share this news with you! If you follow me on Instagram, you probably already know… but we’re baking something extra sweet this Valentine’s Day!! 💕 I’m currently 14 weeks pregnant, and baby #2 is due in early to mid-August. This is truly the sweetest Valentine’s gift ever—I’ve been hoping and praying for this for a while now. I’ll be sharing more about the journey in a separate post, so stay tuned! But for now, I’m just over the moon and soaking in this happy moment 🙂

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I love a good photoshoot. And maternity shoots? Definitely my absolute favorite. It’s non-negotiable—I just have to document this magical time as much as I can. For our first pregnancy announcement, I wanted to do something super unique and special, so we went with a video format. This time around, I wanted to fully embrace the season—because what better time to share the lovely news than Valentine’s?

I have to admit—it was a little gimmicky to use these props, but it’s so me, and honestly, it was so much fun putting everything together! The balloons are from Etsy (link here), and I had them blown up at my local Five Below. The custom newspaper prop is also from Etsy (link here), and it was super easy to edit in Canva. I originally wanted it printed in black and white, but I forgot to mention that—so it came out in color. Still, I really love how it turned out!

I wore the same white sweater dress I wore during one of Katya’s maternity shoots. This dress holds such a special place in my heart. As for Katya’s “big sister” sweater, I ordered it from Amazon (link here). Fun fact—I used that exact sweater to surprise Erik with the pregnancy news! He was a little shocked, haha, but it was definitely a moment we’ll never forget 🙂

Here’s to the new adventure ahead!

Much love,

The Rowens
