Just a 2-minute drive from Filoli, there’s this beautiful spot called Pulgas Water Temple that I recently discovered. Even though it’s super close, I wouldn’t recommend walking from Filoli since the main area of Filoli is located deep down a long driveway. There’s plenty of parking at Pulgas Water Temple, and from the lot, it’s just a short walk to see the stunning structure by the pool. When I visited, there were a few couples and a couple of friend groups enjoying the scenery and having a picnic. There’s a nice grassy area with shade from tall trees—perfect for relaxing or having a bite to eat. So, if you happen to be in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by to soak up the peaceful vibes and enjoy the weather!
