Happy 4th from Idaho

Happy 4th of July from us!
This is my first-time celebrating the 4th of July in Idaho, and summer over here is very hot and long! The sun goes down around 9:30 p.m., so we had a long day eating delicious food and enjoying being outdoors by the pool.

I’ve never eaten jello salad before, but I’m glad I tried it. It was pretty tasty and not as sweet as I expected. Not that it’s the healthiest food for me right now, but I’m using the pregnancy card for my unusual cravings. I’m always hungry—I went back for second and third plates, haha.

Speaking of pregnancy, I’m at the end of 34 weeks, which means we have only about a month left until I pop! Omg, it’s getting so close. I’m half freaking out, thinking I’m not ready, but I’m also excited to meet my boy soon! I just can’t imagine myself being a mom of 2, but I truly feel blessed to have another baby.

Outfit-wise, I’m enjoying not wearing much fabric and not covering my growing belly—like wearing a bikini! My big belly is part of my outfit and honestly the best accessory ever. Love being pregnant during summer! Abercrombie & Fitch has been a huge hit for me lately when it comes to summer outfits! They recently had a big summer sale where I scored a bikini, a cherry bikini cover-up, and a bunch of twisted asymmetrical tops. I also got puff sleeve dresses from them that I brought to Japan, and those are some of my favorites. I love my “Americana” look and I’m so happy I got everything at such a good price!

In the afternoon, we enjoyed homemade ice cream and some fireworks! Katya really enjoyed holding the fireworks and kept asking for more. By 10 p.m., we were surrounded by fireworks everywhere—it was a full 360-degree show celebrating America! Such a vibe! I absolutely love the 4th of July. Hope you had a great day celebrating too!

To America,

Fatima
