Maternity Photoshoot in Truckee Pt.2

Here is part 2 of my maternity photoshoot in Truckee! I had two more outfits, and I love both of them! This white dress with the belly cutout is just perfect. It wasn’t made for maternity, but honestly, it feels like it was made for this exact occasion! It’s definitely more revealing than what I usually go for, but for some reason, I felt empowered and confident. There’s something magical and beautiful about a pregnant body. I love my body the most when I’m pregnant — it’s such a powerful feeling. I really like how this dress highlights and celebrates my growing belly.

As for the second outfit, I was going for a country vibe. The mountain backdrop was absolutely perfect for this look, and Tahoe-Truckee’s variety of nature always amazes me. Since my last pregnancy with Katya, I had wanted to wear maternity overalls, but never got around to ordering them. This time around — especially since I’m thinking this might be my last pregnancy — I wanted to wear every outfit I desired, with no regrets. I’m so glad I finally checked that off my list!

About the hat — while we were sightseeing in Truckee before the shoot, I stumbled upon this gorgeous, high-quality hat. It was my first-time visiting Overland, and I was seriously impressed with their clothing, especially the fur pieces! I’ll definitely be checking them out more for my fall and winter outfits.

Even though I had to drive 7 hours from Idaho to Truckee at almost 36 weeks pregnant, it was totally worth it! I take every opportunity to document these precious moments, and these photos will definitely be framed as a reminder of our sweet time as a family of three 🙂 Which outfit do you like better? Let me know in the comments!
