25 Dec Merry Christmas from The Rowens!!

Merry Christmas to all of you! And if you’re not celebrating Christmas, Happy Holidays! We’ve been having a surprisingly warm winter here in Idaho. I hope you’re all staying warm, safe, and enjoying the holiday season with your loved ones!

I can’t believe it’s already time to post our yearly Box Photography photos! This year, we took them in mid-October, and since we had already moved to Idaho, it turned into a whole production with two kids. Luckily, we were already in California for my sister-in-law’s wedding, so we found a small window of time to get it done. I’m so proud that we managed to pull it off. This year’s theme was “’Twas the Night Before Christmas,” which included classic activities like writing a letter to Santa, reading a Christmas bedtime story, leaving milk and cookies for Santa, watching a Christmas movie, and even a pillow fight! I’m happy to report that neither of our kids had a meltdown, and I’m very happy about that lol.

This was truly a dream-come-true moment for me. For the past few years, I’ve been wondering when I’d be able to add another family member to this Box photoshoot. I remember telling our photographer, Krista, last year how amazing it would be to have another baby in the shoot. And finally, in our fourth year of doing this, we were able to add our little Maverik. I feel so incredibly blessed. I really hope we can manage to come back and do it again next year!
